Introduction:

Tsai's Math Online Program is based on the primary constituents of effective teaching in mathematics coupled with children's learning behavior at a young age. My lessons are designed to help students develop clear concepts of mathematics while academically stimulating and challenging their minds. Participating in my program will have a profound impact on the students' thinking skills, academic competence and confidence.

 

Ms. Tsai has over 34 years of experience providing educational services in mathematics for elementary grades K through 8. She has a unique way of helping students develop a strong and solid foundation for mathematics. This not only helps improve the students' scholastic performance in school, but will continue to be a valuable asset in their future college years.

Program Details:

 

The online lessons are structured the same as Ms. Tsai's classroom lessons. For each grade level, two semesters, fall and spring, are provided. The fall semester includes 15 lessons, and the spring semester includes 18 lessons. The lessons are designed so that students can study one lesson per week. Each lesson includes a video (which mirrors Ms. Tsai's classroom lecture), example assignments with answers (which the student should complete after watching the lesson video to practice the concepts and skills taught in the lesson), and homework (which will further reinforce the taught concepts and skills). For each grade level, the lessons are designed to be taken sequentially, and concepts taught in certain lessons may build upon concepts taught in previous lessons. Further, concepts taught in a particular grade level may build upon concepts taught in an earlier grade level.

 

Additionally, it is important to note that the grade levels of Tsai's Online Math Program do not necessarily correspond to a student's school grade level and, in many instances, may actually cover more advanced concepts. Therefore, please check the foundation and contents for each grade level to determine the appropriate Tsai's Online Math Program grade level for your student.
